Like many women who work hard, love God, and try to make a difference with their lives, I thought I had it all figured out.
I had multiple degrees, an impressive career with a fortune 50 company, and a booming business on the side.
The only thing I was missing was a family of my own, a mate with whom I could build a life.
I’d done it my way for far too long, so I asked God for help and he delivered.
Then, after waiting and wrestling seven years for my promise, he finally got married…to someone else!
After what I saw as betrayal from God himself, I found myself seeking something greater than just marriage.
I wanted meaning, and I continued to trust God and pursue my promise, even after things were completely disrupted.
